    8) Well, elimeno, another start to another gray day here, too, in your neighbor state of Massachusetts, USA! That makes a week of gray, sometimes rainy, days in a row for us as well...I'm needing some S-u-n-s-h-i-n-e!!:sleepy:
It's not yet fully morning, so maaaaybe a little sunshine will follow?? I can only hope!!
Still a little too chill to enjoy watching the sunrise from the deck...even with a hot cup of coffee. Even the birds seem unusually quiet....:music:no dawn chorus this morning!! Eeeek!...Now that is depressing! No songs of joy for the heart to dance to through the day!
Looking forward to the start of the 'Wonder Stables Marathon Weekend' in a couple of hours....:)

The hottest season has started here, 'Kathri Veyil'. Now its 32 Celsius at 5 p.m. and pleasant. Its somewhat cloudy due to sudden summer showers in nearby states of Andhra & Telangana. It would be pleasant if this temperature right now continues, for a few days.
Temperature can raise to 42 to 45 degrees and we wish it won't. We had 38 to 39 Celsius in the past few days.

Several northern states are affected by drought and in the above 2 southern states death due to the summer heat has already risen up. Rain for them is right now a blessing.

May be you can take some of our sunshine and send us a little bit of your rain.

I live in Westchester (NY STATE) I did grow up in the Bronx which a lot of people tend to call the city...we usually just refer to Manhattan as the city. I have Niagara falls on my bucket list. From my understanding there isnt much to do there once u have seen the Falls itself. I guess crossing into Canada would be the thing to do...I have been to Albany, Schenectady, Plattsburg---> all for hockey

    it's getting hot-hot-hot
been 42 deg C (108F) couple of days this week and it is predicted to get hotter, they say we are going to have a heatwave over the next couple of months :(
No fun for outdoors worker, as the rules regarding heat breaks & work time only run from Jun-Aug. It might even "officially" go over 50 deg this year, as outdoor worker must stop work then - so it normally only ever officially reaches 49.5 deg:cry:
I've known it get to well over 60 in the sun and had plastic things melt in the caro_O

What do you do in time like those ? How does the population there save itself ?
    and

You come from UK to work in Qatar ? I thought its always the other way around. No one from cold countries would opt for a hot country.

Thanks Flwrsndnc...it has rained here for about 2 weeks...It was such a tease. even yesterday. I saw some sun and grabbed the leashes. No sooner were we across the street and down the block did it begin pouring. The lab was confused why we headed home so fast...the beagles agreed with me...
