MODs and multi-account posting policy

Are En Forum Moderators permitted to post in the En Forum by using a separate user account?

I am requesting an answer to this question because this concern is receiving increased attention. Most game players, especially long time players, do understand the need for civilized behavior when choosing to respond to another player in the En Forum. However, consideration is now being given to responding to a post where the post is suspected to be that of someone other than just a fellow patron. I am certain some will not respond at all. Furthermore, if such a posting practice is permitted by members of the En Forum Moderator Team the individual with such authority obviously has access to information that is not available to all. Aside from the post itself being deceptive there are other possible effects. An example would be an award of favoritism perhaps given when alerts are issued by players against a specific post.

I feel confident in stating that game patrons I know do appreciate the volunteer services performed by most of our Moderators. I feel even more confident in saying that the long time players I am familiar with support the EN Forum moderators within reason but will not support direct authorization of any practice which may lead to deception.

Again, what is the En Forum Moderator team policy regarding the Moderator posting in the EN Forum from another game account be it their own or someone's account that they know?

As you are aware, moderators are volunteer player and as such are entitled to post as players using their player's identity, providing they follow the rules that other players are obliged to follow.
As you are also aware the true identity of the moderation team must remain secret and any player revealing the identity of moderator would be subject to a warning and/or ban.
Also any player is able to post on the forum with multiple accounts and many indeed do, yourself included.

If you have an issues for a member of the forum team then you are welcome to taken this up with support.

Thank you very much for asking whether you could assist me further. Definitely you can and I feel quite fortunate to have you assisting me. Yes, I realize another member of the En Forum Team may respond to me in your behalf and I will not feel slighted in any manner.
In order that this thread not be closed prematurely I find it necessary to ask for 96 additional hours in order to take you up on your offer to assist me. Quickly, the follow is a partial list of the reasons the request is formally made:

1. This weekend just happens to be a holiday weekend in my country which I choose to celebrate in memory of those who have served my country and with those serving my country.
2. With just more than 24 hours passing since opening this thread, the thread has become the 2nd most reviewed thread opened by players when one considers the 4 pages of listings provided in the General Issues Section. Additionally, reviews of this thread have surpassed one in the Official Announcements Section. Apparently there is sufficient and unexpected interest by more than I originally anticipated. From this quick review alone I should maintain some minimum standard.
3. You, Neon-Lights, is the Moderator who has addressed me and who also happens to be the Moderator addressing the most reviewed thread in the General Issues Section. I would not desire to respond to you in this Section poorly given your kind offer of further assistance. An unquestionable display of respect must be given and I desire every opportunity to do it.

Please do not assume that I am aware of anything you or any other Moderator is entitled to as a "volunteer player." I will gladly review any authoritative source of such information you may disclose. Thank you in advance if you choose to do so.

Also, please no not assume that I was aware that "the true identity of moderation team must remain secret." If you would be so kind as to point me to an authoritative source clarifying your statement then it would be safe to assume that myself and other players would immediately and actively review such a source. Again, thank you in advance if you choose to disclose the source.

Please be assured without any doubt that I would not disclose any Moderator's suspected true identity during my quest for assistance in this thread. As we both know, there are other areas of the internet where this may take place if indeed one wishes to do so or discuss.

Yes, I am aware that any player may post from any farm that they choose. I am not a Moderator as you know, I have posted from my a select few of my baby farms, will open another farm in a heart beat, and I also try and go out of my way to disclose openly that the farm I am responding from is a broke farm (meaning myself).

Also, thank you for emphasizing that if I should have an issue with a Moderator that I may take it to Support. Thank you, thank you, thank you for reminding me. I now feel I should have the screen shots, names, links, times, and other information available immediately when and if I ever choose to go to Support for anything. You are preparing me well but at this time I have other concerns and at the moment do not see the need. But I will certainly keep this in mind.

Adequate reasons for requesting 96 additional hours for this thread remaining open have been given. Would you be so kind to inform me of this permission here?

As stated by Neon-Lights, you need to contact Support if you have any issues with any Moderator behaviour. We cannot assist on the Forum with any matter of this nature. The info regarding Moderators accounts are here regarding our anonymity and we follow the same Forum Guidelines as players.
As this is the General Issues section, and unless you have a question that we can assist you with, this thread will be closed as any other grievances can only be dealt with by contacting Support.

Respectfully, I clearly understand my right to contact support and if I have an issue with a Moderator I will consider it. Two out of two Moderators appear to be pushing Support yet offering to assist further.

I have clearly and respectfully with good reasons requested 96 hours to prepare and properly consider my post for related assistance here.

There are at least six threads in this section currently open at this time with the oldest that I can see dating back to April 30, 2016. Today's date is May 28, 2016 in my country. (I am requesting 96 hours and not 30 days.)

My general issue involves Moderators, Moderators are responding, the statement made "Can I assist you further?" has now been made twice (once by two separate Moderators including yourself), the issue I have brought to attention is obviously sensitive yet significant, I wish to take Moderators up on their offer, I have presented legitimate reasons for the necessity to prepare my related question to bring clarity to a general issue, and for these reasons I am concerned that this thread will be quickly closed prematurely and I wish to prevent it or have it done where efforts and action leave little misinterpretation. Again I thank you for your assistance thus far and everything written here is written with sincere respect.

Thank you for the source you have provided and it shall be reviewed within that 96 hours time period requested. I will go further and rush to do completely and faster in order to take Moderators up on their offer if you insist.

Either your team will grant the time if indeed the offers are sincere or they will not. Perhaps a partial answer of what I am seeking may be found in the information you have just provided. And with that said that is all the more reason for the time being granted.

As stated previously, my issue of concern has not involved a thought of rushing to Support.

Please advise me of this team's decision.

Thank you for your very verbose and circuitous answers, they thread will be left open until you have had time to consider what to reply (if anything), but as has been already alluded to; your particular grievance, whatever that may be, is unlikely to fall under the remit that can be dealt with by the EN forum team and even then so, not under this particular section of the forum. So unless you have a specific further point that does fall under the General Issues guidelines, that myself or any member of the team can assist you with then I respectfully ask if I may close this thread?

Neon-Lights, thank you for your response more than you can imagine. Respectfully, my response to you may be regarded by you as verbose. Yet even though clear, specific and filled with fact, if one chooses not to understand any issue which is very general and quite specific, then one will not and most likely will attempt to evade the issue. Again, nothing but respect is given to you in this position.

Again respectfully and fact based, due to the classic manner of your response which has been demonstrated before, I seriously should not assign any further effort at this time in this arena.

Thank you for granting the additional time but I no longer feel a satisfactory and nondestructive answer will be derived. I want no part of that likely further destruction.
