WOW! Thank you everyone SO MUCH for all of the kind thoughts, words and prayers.... every message made me bawl like a baby, but please know that I REALLY DO appreciate everyone's sentiments. It means so much to me that you are all so caring and compassionate. One reason I love the Farmerama community SO much! I also want to say Thank You on here to everyone who has IGM'd me... I just don't have time or energy to reply to everyone right now, but I will try to when I can.

My burns, blisters and cuts that I sustained from crawling out of my fully engulfed home are healing, slowly, but I'm still really REALLY sick with chemical pneumonia and a major bronchial infection from all of the smoke inhalation, and of course my heart is beyond shattered over the totality of what I've lost... but especially for the loss of my 2 furbabies that I couldn't save (I tried, found my cat dead at my back door, then went back in to try and save my pup, but I just couldn't or I would have not made it out alive):cry::cry::cry:. I don't have children so these were my BABIES, and it just kills me... all of it does, the horrific images, sounds and smells that won't leave my head haunt me 24/7.

For those of you who asked to see pics of my lost babies here they are, I only have older pics of them, as all of my newer pics that I had saved on a new digital camera, an external hard drive and a couple other laptops/PCs were all lost in the fire(100% total loss)... but you can see how precious they were. It just sickens me that they had to die...:(:(:(

This is Blitz... a pure White DSH w/blue eyes. This cat was my heart, and he slept with me every night. I miss his terribly, always will.[IMG]

And this is little Brodie... half Boxer/half Pug (Poxer). Sweetest, happiest, silliest little dog I have ever been owned by. Breaks my heart I could not save him.

The rest of my animals (outside pets and livestock) are fine, tho a little traumatized still... but not burned or sick from smoke.

That's about all I have time to update with for now... cuz right now I need to go have another long hard crying session.
Thanks again for everyone's thoughts prayers and well wishes. I know I have a long road ahead of me, but I know that if I made it thru the fire I can make it thru whatever's ahead of me... just taking it one day at a time. I'll update with good news as soon as some comes my way.
:inlove: you guys! And Thanks again!:inlove:

little Brodie... has such a loving and trusting eyes. And the cat sleeps beautifully. They both remind me of the pets of my relatives. My uncle's dog Julie was my pet whenever I went to my village. We used to go to very long walks early mornings. It used to look at me the same way your dog looks in the photo. She was very close to me than with others. It got bitten by a mad dog when trying to save a calf. The calf was saved but Julie had to be mercy killed. I have only one photo of her in my facebook.

Like elena said, there is not much we can do. But we can share your sorrow and grief and try to lessen it.

    8) Thank you GuineaUp, for taking the time and making the effort to share with us. Your loss and grief are almost beyond belief, and seeing the family you have lost-Blitz and Brodie-we can see why. They are truly beautiful. Cats are like no other animal - they will look you right in the eye and really talk to you - I see why Blitz was your heart...and the expression on Brodie's face...well, it is clear why you risked your life to try to get to him.
Some things are not meant to be, though, and we are just glad you made it out alive. They will always be alive in your heart. So glad you still have these pictures and have shared them with us...
I feel the same as the others here, and add my prayers to theirs. What you have/are enduring is beyond my experience to fully comprehend....but your love and loss for your pet family is not. Many, many hugs to you.:inlove::inlove::inlove:

UPDATE: GuineaUp sent me a message today...

She truly misses her Farm family, friends and neighbours, AND is extremely grateful for all of the outpouring of love her way.
GuineaUp is still deeply in the throngs of mourning and recovery....some nasty images, sounds and smells to work through. Not to mention waiting for life to resume somehow...start over....

If you pray, continue to do so...

    GuineaUp,

I just today read this thread. Words are just NOT sufficient to express my deep sadness over your horrific turn of events. Fire is a constant possibility, and I can imagine the overwhelming sights, sounds, and smells that were thrust on you. My family is wondering why I am sitting here quietly sobbing, and once I told them and showed them the photos of your beloved companions who passed...well the mood became much somber here. It is Memorial Day, so I find it fitting in some way to remember your family today along with past and current military members.

Sweetie, right now you are so physically and emotionally sick that seeing a future without pain is impossible. But as time passes and your physical wounds and problems heal and disappear, you will become strong enough to remember and examine the emotional moments as well. Just try to hang in there.

Time does heal all wounds, but the emotional scars are permanent. But they will become a part of what makes you....you. You will never forget and you will always love them until the end of your days.

Take care of yourself and let yourself heal your physical wounds.
Your farm buddies here await your return anxiously.
We will help all we can to begin healing the emotional scars.

    With love and sadness,
    MsTheaP

UPDATE: Received an update from GuineaUp....for the most part she is healed up physically, with the exception of scars. The emotional stuff however is the hardest to overcome. GuineaUp shared with me in great detail all the images and emotions she is experiencing right now....and more than likely in the future. I will not provide details here to respect GuineaUp's privacy....just know that she appreciates all the love thrown her way.
It may be some time before we see our farm friend and family member posting again......continue with the love gifts of encouragement...every little bit helps....every kind word heals....

    8) Thank you, 007Farming, for keeping us informed on GuineaUp's progress. It is good to hear that she is mostly healed up physically, at least. Her emotional scars are almost unimaginable, but hopefully in time, they will heal some, too.
Please tell her how we miss her, and that we feel the lack of her lively and interesting posts on the forum.
Our hopes and prayers continue for her recovery.:inlove:

My thoughts and prayers are with you. Thankfully, they can do a lot with burns nowadays, but healing is still a hard and painful process.

Stay strong, I am glad you made it out alive. I'll keep you and your family in my prayers.
