I thought it was about time I had a bash at doing the Strategy thread and this is an easy one to work out (famous last words). :p

Two crops (Lollypoppies - 6 hours, and Miracle Egg Plants - 5 hours) which can only be planted on the Event Playfield (yay!) though no buffs apply ( :wuerg: ), only water and poo. We will receive 10 seeds for each crop. :music:

There is a drop item: Milk Chocolate. :)
The first part requires 360 Lollipoppies which opens up more plots as you progress.

The second part with the "real" prizes requires Chocolate Eggs which are a milled product (11 Chocolate Eggs needed) requiring 100 Miracle Egg Plants and 10 Milk Chocolates. :inlove:

Total required to finish the event:

    360 Lollipoppies
    1,100 Miracle Egg Plants
    110 Milk Chocolates.

I'm in for this one, no need to mess about with the main fields and nice prizes - always love a CR that gives +1 of anything non-specific (ie, in this case one extra of all animals!). :D
    Good luck all! ;)

Thanks Illy. I'm in, as always, no sense to be found here. It seems a bit of a struggle as I'm not the best at harvesting on time. Not to mention my sacred quality time with my bed & Mr Sandman. We'll see how far I can get. The CR looks interesting.

Yeah, I haven't decided my strategy yet - might work on getting all the fields open, just plant whatever Miracle Egg Plants I have to get the free 5 seeds every 5 hours and see how it goes ... 1,160 plants - I calculate (I use the term loosely) that 5.5 full harvests of the Miracle Egg Plants will be enough and achievable in three days so three days to do the Lollipoppies! o_O
Please take no attention of my workings out here, I am renowned for missing the finer details of events! xD

Thank you @illy1996 for coming up with numbers. Just a small correction, 110 Milk Chocolate drops are needed to finish up the event (100 is to get the cloud row).

To speed things up, we'll have to play with the plot sizes to max out harvests and be able to dump excess Lollipoppies as donations to take advantage of the 5 extra crops booked each 5h (players should make sure that in their game options partial deliveries is activated, dunno if it's necessary for event donations tho). The hard question is how often will the event drop show up in harvests. I think that pressing on, the Lollipoppies can be grown in no more than 2 days. The Miracle Egg Plants will take 3 days, so that leaves some wiggling room to celebrate Easter! :D

The givers are just meh, the only one that I can see that's worth something is the Easter Horsey that doubles up TEP for givers on Baha lands (100% TEP booster for baha givers). The EP/TEP payout of the 3 givers is horrible tho. But the cloud row +1 from animal stalls each 45h (so every 2 days) is SO good that players shouldn't let it pass.

    Good luck everyone!

    P. S. We'll get hit with the April Fools' Day mini event Monday, what it will be, no one knows....

Thank you illy and Nordais, for starting the thread and fixing any issues;)! I too am a glutton for punishment and will do my best on this event! I am NOT a fan of this Event Field as I like my buffs and want to use them!:music: Happy Easter and Good luck to all!;)

Thanks Illy and Northy! I love the event field and will give this a try. Wish everyone success :inlove:

Does it make any difference which size plot on which we sow initial seeds.

From what I understand from FAQ, our only 'fertilizer' is water (no poo) and a pastry pancake to reduce time.

I wonder if the "poo" was just left out, as USUALLY we can use water and poo on the event field. Maybe someone should ask? (Edit: I asked - posted in general issues.)

I was going to skip it as I really dislike event field events. But the Cloud Row! It's a must have. So I'll fiddle with the falderal and I'll do it. phhhhhbbbbt.

I'm really leery of the field opening mechanic. If it, um, "works" like the Edelweiss Valley mechanic, this should go well. But at least most seasoned players know how that does/doesn't work.

Of course, Northy's right - they are going to spring something on us on the 1st. Maybe, if we're lucky, it won't affect the event field.

While we don't have an event on regular fields, I'm going to have "theme" days - #1 - open all the wonder trees and stables I've saved up on my farms. #2 - Put the same type of crop on all fields and use the buff for that crop to reap extra harvest for that day. #3 - put out trees and stables that I'm low on.

What type of April 1 'something' has been done in the past?

Thanks Nordais, my post has been amended - I did the sums in my head so it figures I didn't get them all right! :D

Dumbunny, there is another event starting on Friday - Jigsaw Event so I would hold off on your theme days till after the FAQs are posted. :p

MeadowCrossing: We have had aliens stealing our crops and critters, storms which flooded our fields, many more that I can't bring to mind but if there is anything weird happening on your farm, you can bet it is an April Fool's joke! xD

The worst I saw was the upside down game window, there was also the glowing screen that was hard on the eyes... The constant thing is that players can win prizes by hunting and cliking on the popping critters. Usually the last prize is awarded around 80-85 clicks.

The FAQ capture screen shows only water and the pancake as booster, no poo.

I wonder what can be done in a 3 day event... jigsaw puzzle... and Renzo fun fair... *crossing fingers that the game doesn't crash*

FAQ says event field will open with 1x1 plots. Will it make any difference what size plots we use? I recall this being explained some time ago, but unfortunately didn't save the info. Think there's a different result for seeds used/harvest result/amount of water/poo used, but maybe it doesn't affect the event field?

I love the April Fool's fun on our farms, but did dislike having to change fields for the spawning characters to collect the gifts and also agree the 80 clicks to get them all was a lot.

@MeadowCrossing - it doesn't matter what size plots you use when no harvest buffs can be used. You will still get the same net yield for the same amount of space.

However, the larger the plots the less water and/or manure you have to use. The smaller plots give you more chances for drops.

I will begin with 2x2 plots and once I open the field fully, I will switch to 1x1 plots if drops are slow.

The FAQ on the German forum clearly states that traditional manure and water are used in the event area.

Once moles appeared from ground and stole plants. I think it was also April fool, when there was molten lava on fields.

I opted for 1x1 plots as I could only place seven 2x2. Planted both crops and think to continue with lollies after initial harvest until I can open more area. If I remember, I'll delete 5 plots to keep space for free seeds as they seem to be given while I'm waiting to harvest.

Does anyone know if we can donate crops in increments or does it have to be the full amount?

To open the fields, the event asks for the right amount of lollipuppies, so no cheating with dishing out 5 extra seeds... >:(xD
There's no cheat to be had this time with this event using the 5 extra booking of event seeds...

You should have opt out for the 7 (2x2), 4 (1x2) and 1 (1x1) plots, maxing out your return. If you used you 10 lollipuppies and 10 Egg crops n 1x1, you left half the field unused for your first harvest. The total amount of crops you can get on the event field is the same what ever field size you use BUT by using 2x2, 1x2 & 1x1 plots you reduce the amount of seeds needed to sow the entire field.

Starting size of event field: 40 (1x1)
if you sowed 10 lollipoppies in 1x1: return will be 20 lollipoppies (2 lollipuppies per 1x1)
    if you sowed 10 lollipuppies in 7 (2x2) an 3 (1x2) (total 10 lollipuppies sowed): return 44 lollipuppies (35 from the (2x2) and 9 from the (1x2))

The FAQ for this 3 day event shows that it is limited to the Moonlight fields only. I sure hope they 'fixed' the mechanics on the pieces for the jigsaw, we had a hard time keeping the servers up with the last one. At least they give us enough pieces to finish the first puzzle as a starter.
